Job Description

The purpose of this position is to assist in the development of community education and training programs at the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities. Additionally, this position, with oversight from the Director of Community Education and Training, will develop curriculum and manage community training and education initiatives at the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities. Furthermore, this position will support the development of Extension of Community Health Outcomes (ECHO) networks and other virtual learning communities and professional learning certificates. Also, this position will provide supervision and guidance to other WIND program staff.

Duties

• Develop and deliver training and engagement curricula including university preservice, interdisciplinary education at the University of Wyoming.
• Also, develop and deliver training and engagement curricula related to health and disability, specifically the creation of multidisciplinary virtual learning communities to include, UW ECHO networks, as identified by state and national priorities and needs.
• Similarly, support research, grant proposal, and manuscript activities including literature reviews, data collection and database management, coordination of grant and institutional review board proposal submissions, and maintenance. Likewise, this will include the supervision of outreach and other program staff as appropriate.
• Also, coordinate contracts and mentor new ECHO hubs throughout the state, nation, and world. Develop a training curriculum and content for ECHO superhub training in collaboration with UW ECHO faculty and staff. This may include technical assistance via videoconference technology and on-site as may be appropriate.
• Additionally, assist in the development and delivery of the survey’s programmatic evaluations, and needs assessments.

Qualifications for Vacancy for Project Coordinator

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field of social services or public administration
Experience:5 years work-related experience, including program development, training, and grant writing and evidence of successful program development and implementation
