Job purpose

The main purpose of this role is to ensure business growth & decision making, responsible to oversee the finance functions of management and financial accounts.

Qualifications & Education

• Holder of Masters or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration with specialization Accounting, Finance from an accredited university
• Also, ACCA/CIA /CMA Certified is mandatory

Experience/ Training / Knowledge:

• 7 to 10 years of experience with finance & accounting
• Also, a minimum of 5 years’ experience at a managerial accounting level needed
• Likewise, experience in a higher education organization is preferred.
• Similarly, bilingual mandatory (English & Arabic)

Responsibilities:

• Plan, budget, and oversee all financial affairs services, functions, and other related matters.
• Additionally, assist in planning, reviewing, recommending, developing, and monitoring the University’s implementation of the University budgeting policies, processes, rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Furthermore, establish and maintain relationships with financial institutions, execute contracts and other agreements on behalf of AUE, and serve as a liaison with all committees on financial matters, investments, and audit firms.
• Likewise, prepare official reports and financial closing on a monthly and annual basis.
• Furthermore, reporting the financial and budgeting results of operations to the Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs, the audit and internal control committee and officers, and the relevant executive officers, committees, and offices.
• Additionally, establishing and maintaining sound relationships with financial institutions, including commercial and investment banks, managing working capital, and endowments.
