Job Summary

The Horace H. Rackham Graduate School is the home of graduate education at the University of Michigan and offers a remarkably broad and rigorous array of graduate degree programs that are among the very best in the country in each field of study. Duties

  • Assist with the development, planning and implementation of all DEI Certificate student workshops and training
  • Also, manage the online dashboard to track program participant progress in collaboration with Rackham ITS team, including approving all submitted reflection forms
  • Additionally, assist with the collection and analysis of program data, maintain program records and monitor student progress
  • Furthermore, work with the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) manager at Trotter Multicultural Center to compile and analyze program evaluation data
  • Serve as an advocate, resource, and point of contact for program participants
  • Likewise, create and manage a menu of outreach activities and virtual learning opportunities for program participants

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Also, demonstrated background knowledge of and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion
  • Experience with issues in graduate education, student development, and DEI in higher education
  • Likewise, an understanding of the challenges faced by underrepresented and marginalized populations in higher education
  • Also, the ability to effectively and efficiently develop and execute several key projects
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Furthermore, the ability to collaborate effectively on a team
  • Also, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, prioritization, and follow-through
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
