Qualifications for Vacancy for Operations Analyst

Minimum

A bachelor’s degree and 1.5 years of full-time related work experience, OR two years of post-secondary education in a related field and 2.5 years of full-time related work experience, OR a high school diploma or GED and five years of full-time related work experience.

Essential Functions

Analyze, evaluate, process and resolve HRIS/employee life-cycle process problems ensuring HRIS data integrity including but not limited to: employment coding and civil service appointment requirements; base pay and/or stipends; benefits issues. Also, labor distribution coding accuracy for feed to finance; budget and/or Office of Equity and Inclusion approvals. Likewise,  union data standards and associate dues (AAUP, Teamsters, FOP). Also, I-9 processing which includes consultation with General Counsel on new foreign employee documentation and status, and working with Payroll to ensure international income tax questions and requirements are addressed.

Furthermore, the incumbent will work independently to process data for over 50 payrolls. The position focuses on time-sensitive processing and accuracy. Moreover, he/she will monitor daily personnel actions and EPAFs; respond to general employee and management questions. Resolve problems/issues independently; identify discrepancies in data during the pay increase process and provide quality control. Maintain the department’s employee records.

Minimum Annual or Hourly Rate: $20.58/hr.
