Duties

1. General objective

Based on the existing communication strategy and in line with the constraints of the health crisis in Europe and Africa, the service provider will develop a detailed strategic and operational plan for the management and dissemination of information and knowledge from the project and will ensure its deployment. . He will work in conjunction with the project coordination team.

2. Specific objectives

The specific objectives of this contract are, at the national and supranational level, to:

• Establish a management strategy and dissemination of information and knowledge-based on diagnosis and declined in the action plan in connection with the digital strategy of the project [1];

Qualifications and skills

• Degree in one or more of the following disciplines: knowledge management, journalism, communication, communication for development, international relations, or other relevant fields;
• Additionally, a minimum of 5 years of experience in knowledge management and communication in the field of international development, with a proven professional record producing a wide range of communication tools and media, and with a good knowledge of communication technology media, web-based management systems, social media for public information/advocacy, strong ability to translate technical information into a wide variety of target groups;
• Furthermore, experience in designing knowledge management strategies and operational action plans;
• Likewise, experience in public relations and external communication, dissemination and awareness campaigns;
• Good command of online communication tools and awareness campaigns;
• Excellent command of French and English;
• Also, experience working for international projects would be an advantage especially in the field of sustainable development.
