Duties
External communications:
- Production of program quality photos while highlighting the direct beneficiaries of programs/projects and ensuring the visibility of the Mercy Corps brand.
- Additionally, ensures all photos produced are edited and archived to Mercy Corps standards
- Likewise, with the support of the Communications Manager, he is responsible for the regular editing of external videos
Internal communications:
- Producing top quality photos featuring everything highlighting MC RDC team members. These photos will be published with a text of a maximum of 300 words in a personal blog format.
- Furthermore, the candidate supports the Communications Officer in the production of the Internal Newsletter.
Capacity building:
- With the support of the Communications Manager, he is responsible for building the capacities of the MC RDC team in the photography and filming base.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Diploma or certification in photography, communications, journalism, or social sciences
- Likewise, minimum experience in taking pictures
- Knowledge of video production and editing techniques
- Using the editing package
- Additionally, audiovisual writing
- Methodology for developing a multimedia project
