The Communications Officer – Translator shall carry out his/her duties under the direct supervision of the Project Manager and/or Head of Support Services.

Additionally, the translator will be responsible for translating internal and external documents into English and/or Spanish.

Duties

The incumbent will do the following duties

1. Translate materials from Spanish to English or From English to Spanish ensuring that all deadlines are met.

2. Also, perform self-reviewed translations and review documents translated by others when necessary.

3. Likewise, provide accurate, faithful and timely translation of documents into the target language. Respect the source design when needed.

4. Additionally, perform other related tasks as required.

Qualifications for Vacancy for Communications Officer

The incumbent must meet the given requirements

Education

• Full university studies (Equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree) are required. Preferably in Translation.

Work experience

• 2 years of experience in English-Spanish translation.
• Also, experience translating technical documents linked to public procurement will be considered a plus.
• Likewise, considered a plus work experience with google suite tools

Languages

• Spanish language prof domain.
• Also, English language prof dominion.
