Duties

The Assistant Professor of Nursing will have the following responsibilities

• Teach, evaluate and revise course as needed, provide on-campus and black board learning experiences/labs/clinical, evaluate student learning, post grades, submit final course grades per university policy.
• Also, facilitate student clinical placement and oversight of student clinical issues, agency requirements and oversight of clinical instructors.
• Additionally, attend School of Nursing, college and university meetings as applicable

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the given eligibility criteria

• Master’s of Science in Nursing or Master’s of Science with Major in Nursing
• Also, RN in Colorado or ability to obtain one
• Likewise, two year’s clinical teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications

• DNP or PhD
• Two years administrative experience in nursing, and nurse educator courses (9 credits or more)
