Position Summary 

The Department of Management is requesting applications for part-time Adjunct instructors for the 2020-21 Academic year to teach Online. Additionally, the Management Department is responsible for staffing courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with an emphasis on courses in Organizational Behavior, Strategy, Leadership, Ethics, Human Resource Management an International Business.

For our online courses, we have particular needs in Human Resource Management and Business Ethics.

However, applications for other areas are also welcomed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teaching responsibilities for assigned courses include:

  • Preparation of materials for class sessions
  • Also, maintaining and updating course site on the Canvas learning platform
  • Delivering lectures and leading class discussions
  • Likewise, preparing and grading learning assessments
  • Providing support and guidance to students
  • Also, calculating and reporting grades

Minimum Requirements for Vacancy for Adjunct Faculty

Master’s Degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Ethics, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous online teaching experience.
  • Likewise, willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
  • Also, experience with Canvas learning system

Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:

Requires ability to work evenings/nights.
