The Emirates College for Advanced Education (ECAE) would like to recruit a member of faculty who will:

1. Contribute to the development and delivery of graduate programs in Guidance and Counselling and other related graduate courses.
2. Similarly, supervise graduate students on Internship and Apprenticeship programs.
3. Also, undertake research related to guidance and counselling with a commitment to publish.

Essential:

• A doctoral degree in Counselling or related field.
• Also, teaching experience at the graduate level
• Additionally, an active research program relevant to guidance and counselling.
• Furthermore, flexible and positive attitude of engagement with students, colleagues and research advisors from various backgrounds.

Desirable:

• Work experience in a multi-cultural environment, preferably within the Arab world
• Similarly, school-based guidance and counselling experience
• Strong organizational skills in managing multiple projects.
• Also, sound research design and methods knowledge and skills
• Experience with successful external grant writing.
• Also, Arabic language skills.

Program Description:

The Postgraduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling is a responsive and flexible one-year modular program that is aligned with Level 8 in the UAE Qualification Framework – QF Emirates.
