Responsibilities for Vacancy for Program Officer in Switzerland

• Carry out basic research on selected aspects of programs, operations and other activities,
  etc.
• Also, provides substantive support for policy coordination and evaluation functions, including the review
  and analysis of emerging issues and trends.
• Additionally, assist in performing consulting assignments, in collaboration with the client, by planning
  facilitating workshops.
• Furthermore, participate  in survey initiatives.
• Also, contribute to the preparation of various written outputs.
• Furthermore, provide administrative and substantive support to consultative and other meetings, conferences,
  etc.
• Likewise, undertake outreach activities; participates in the development of training workshops, seminars,
  etc.
• Moreover, participates in field missions, including provision of substantive and administrative support, data
  collection, etc.
• Also, coordinate activities related to budget funding.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

EDUCATION:

Advanced university degree in business administration, management, economics a related field such as engineering, science, agriculture, food science, development studies. Also, candidates should have complete first level university degree in business
administration, management, economics a related field such as engineering, science, agriculture,
food science, development studies may be considered with an additional two years’ of relevant
professional experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of two years of relevant professional work experience in
project/program management. Likewise, experience in trade and development projects is an advantage.

LANGUAGES:

Advanced knowledge of English. Intermediate French desirable.
