About:
University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC) seeks adjunct faculty to teach online in the Environmental Management program. The University have interest in scholar practitioners who want to share their experience and knowledge in the environmental field with non-traditional students spanning the range of environmental management from pollution prevention, auditing, technologies, ecology, communications, and land, water, and air quality management.
Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in environmental health, sustainability, environmental engineering, ecology and earth sciences, environmental policy, or a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning. PhD or other terminal degree preferred.
- Additionally, professional experience in the environmental field, including air quality management.
- Also, certifications as QEP, CIH, CHMM, CSP or other environmental management relating certification are a plus.
- Likewise, experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred
