Along with a passion for undergraduate teaching and an appreciation for the role of the business curriculum in a liberal arts setting, a strong candidate will have teaching expertise in accounting and finance, and be a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Also, strong candidates will also show evidence of providing effective support and guidance for students pursuing internships. Also, display an eagerness to actively engage with the Kansas City area business community. Additionally, a master’s level degree in business or a related field is required, while a doctoral degree is preferred.

This position is non-tenure-track and at the assistant professor rank. Additionally, the finalist will receive a one-year contract for the 2021-2022 academic year, renewable for a second year (the 2022-2023 academic year).
