The Next Health Accelerator is a revolutionary health innovation accelerator by Intrepid Entrepreneurs for African Entrepreneurs. It endeavours to disrupt healthcare in Africa with an initial focus on sexual and reproductive and particularly on self-care.
Next Health Accelerator selects the best innovators, helps them refine their value proposition and products, provides seed funding as well as connects them with leading corporations or organizations for value chain access.

Benefits
The accelerator is of 6-month with 20+ programs. All the participants will have the following benefits:
- Each startup will receive up to USD 20,000 of seed funding during the acceleration phase.
- Startups have access to a network of mentors, coaches, experts in their respective fields. Moreover, mentors are recruited from an international and national group of entrepreneurs, health experts, investors and organizations’ executives.
- Startups will receive support in technology, marketing, and design, as well as entrepreneurship, enabling them to overcome the greatest challenges they face.
- Access to a strong network of value chain partners

Eligibility and Selection Criteria
innovators offering solutions in the Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) sector with an emphasis on self-care.
The startups will be selected on the basis of the strength of the team, the dedication, and passion of the founders, the potential market size, and the unique value proposition of their product or service.
Selection Process
- You will first submit an online application through the program website. You need to have the following in the application:
- description of your startup
- A founder profile
- Offered solution
- other critical information

- Then, the program core team will do a review of the applications and eliminate incomplete or inappropriate applications.
- After this, there will be a series of interviews with the program core team and external experts for further evaluation.
- Finally, there will be a face-to-face interview with a selection committee and its founders.
