International Educational Technology Conference series, founded in 2001, is an international, non-profitable, educational technology activity with the mission of educational technology in education and it’s practical application. IETC serves the profession with international conferences, quality proceedings books and leading edge digital library for professional growth.
It is an international educational activity for academics, teachers and educators. This conference is now a well known educational technology event and the number of paper submissions and attendees increase every year. It promotes the development and dissemination of theoretical knowledge, conceptual research, and professional knowledge through symposium activities, the symposium book, and the Turkish Online Journal of Educational Technology (TOJET). Its focus is to create and disseminate knowledge about the use of instructional technology for learning and teaching in education.
“The International Educational Technology Conference (IETC)” series is an international academic, educational, professional group dedicated to the advancement of educational technology knowledge, theory, and quality of learning and teaching at all levels.
The first of “The International Educational Technology Symposium (IETS)” were held at Sakarya University in Turkey in 2001 and the second of “The International Educational Technology Symposium (IETS)” were held at Sakarya University in Turkey in 2002. The third one was at Eastern Mediterranean University in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in 2003, and the fourth one at Sakarya University in Turkey in 2004. The fifth International Educational Technology Conference (IETC) was organized at Sakarya University in Turkey in 2005 and then returned to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and the sixth one were held at Eastern Mediterranean University in 2006. In 2007, the seventh conference organized at Near East University in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. After then The 8th International Educational Technology Conference were held at Anadolu University in Turkey in 2008. The 9th International Educational Technology Conference was organized at Hacettepe University in Turkey in 2009.In 2010 IETC was organized in Bogazici University and in 2011 IETC was organized in Istanbul University. IETC 2012 was organized by Sakarya University, National Central University in Taoyuan, Taiwan. 2013 IETC was organized in Malaysia, IETC 2014 was organized in USA, IETC 2015 was organized in Turkey, IETC 2016 was organized in Duabi,UEA and IETC 2017 was organized at Harvard University Faculty Club in Cambridge, MA, USA, August 16-18, 2017. IETC 2018 was organised at Indiana University, College of Education, IL, USA. IETC 2019 will be held in Praque, Czech Republic.
The International Educational Technology Conference aims to diffuse the knowledge and researches among academicians and lead to development in educational technology and instructional technologies.
