7th Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp in Bangkok

After COVID19, 7th Edition of Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp was successfully conducted in Bangkok, Thailand from 22nd to 25th July 2022. This edition of Bootcamp had hosted 150 participants from 35 different countries along with 25 mentor/ speakers from renowned institutes around the globe.

The 7th Edition of Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp was hosted in collaboration of Swiss School of Management, Global School of Business Management as co organizer, Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Thailand, National Innovation Agency (NIA) of Royal Thai Government, Thailand, Global Startup Hub Thailand and Stay De Luxe as local partner. The opening ceremony started with Thai performance followed by Keynote session by Prof. Dr. Massimiliano Bracalé, President, Swiss School of Management and Dato’ Steve Cheah, Managing Director of Global Entrepreneurship Network (Gen), Thailand.

Other notable mentor/speakers of the Bootcamp include Mr. Joseph Jeong (Wall Street Veteran, Angel Investor, Mentor and Educator), Mr. Shantanu Kumar (data scientist at Snapchat), Prof. Dr. Elizabeth Soliday Naui (President of the International School of Applied Social Sciences (ISASS), Dr. Renard Siew (World Economic Forum Expert Network Group), Prof. Nguyen Quang Huy (Lecturer/ Researcher of the Foreign Trade University), Dr. Nguyen Thu Hang (FTU Innovation and Incubation Space (FIIS)), Prof. Ali A. Shah Povia (Center Director of the Swiss School of Management campus in Rome), MA. Along with the mentorship session, the Bootcamp additionally hosted numerous networking sessions, teamwork sessions and cultural night which amplified the communicating and networking which aided in several collaborations and bonding among the participants. The uppermost goal of these sessions were to help participants work in their business model, build a strong network, grow the team spirit and help participants get the real-life experience of working in a team.

On the demo day, 19 different business ideas were pitched. The pitched ideas included Cloud Kitchen (an extended variety of food and quick food delivery system), RKGS (startup that offers Salon with family environment, Skin care , clinic , Makeup Studio, Beauty Products with natural Ingredients), iFresh (startup that delivering Organic & Fresh Fruits, Vegetables, Products, Cosmetic with multiple order system and also our system is support for receive bulk/wholesale orders from hotels, restaurants, wedding etc.), CUEX (An application which preserves traditions and spreads the knowledge of various cultures around the world while simultaneously acting as a travel assistance app), LiMEATless (a company Importing frozen meat and lamb from Australia), South Asia Football Academy (S.A.F.A.) (the first football academy that targets to bring raw talent in South Asia and Southeast Asia into professional players in European leagues), Metapreneurs (Meta Lab is an interactive learning platform in the metaverse. Learners from anywhere and any background can learn practically and interactively as they desire.), NSTA (Developing mobile application of Nepal Stock Market for tracking and transactions), VR Chili Production (a company that convert knowledge into visuals through entertainment by establishing Film production company along with innovative VFX services), EntrepExpress (a new mobile app minfuses a digital academy focusing on entrepreneurs plus an effective platform for various stakeholders including practitioners and entrepreneur-mentors who will be available in the loop), Be Remarkable (Be Remarkable is an organization emerging as a catalyst in providing top-notch learning opportunities to the students with our flagship programs), ROAR (a startup that provide education, skills and extra curriculum activities to school children’s from grade1 to grade 10 from 6 different schools with fun and entertainment), SIASITOK (a startup which will address the communication barrier by using sign language with a moto “one world, one language”), GC Research & Development(Alternative for fuel: Hydrogen and electric energy for automobiles), My Energy (a futuristic solution for reducing the cost of regular energy usages and with a vision to have sustainable energy products with various dimension), The Distinct Studio (startup that provides skill development courses to schools, making it much more accessible for the students to up-skill, understanding and develop skills in accordance to the work force required in the modern world), Visibellum (VR brainwave medical technology to blind people and those with vision impairments), MSDT (startup for best Technical Education and Vocational Training Institute creating safe employment opportunities and bridging the gap between global industries and employees) and Medicine Near Me (a startup that helps patient get the medicines from nearest pharmacy by using online platform).

The Winner of the Bootcamp was team CUEX with team member Travis Sonder, Giacomo Fierro, Yugin Subba, Pushpendra Singh, Muhammad Wa’ez Asyraf Bin Dollah while team South Asia Football Academy (S.A.F.A.) with team members Quang Minh Pham, Onwaree Fern and Lokendra Singh won the title of Best team.
