The University of Southern California is a private research university in Los Angeles, California. ‘Let whoever earns the palm bear it’ is the motto of the university which was established in 1880. Furthermore, it is the oldest private research university in California. The University of Southern California offers full scholarships to a few deserving students.

It offers a number of different programs, for instance, business, law, engineering, social work, and medicine. Moreover, the university has affiliations with  9 Nobel laureates, 6 MacArthur Fellows, 18 Astronauts, and 1 Turing Award Winners. Above all, the university is in 115th position in the QS World University Rankings 2019.

The University of Southern California offers generous aid to its students. Undergraduate financial aid includes grants, merit scholarships, loans, and Federal Work-Study. The aid is dependent on a student’s as well as the family’s financial need (need-based) or according to the cost of attendance (not–need-based).

The university offers a number of prestigious scholarship programs, ranging in value from a few thousand dollars up to full tuition, based on academic excellence, leadership, service, as well as talent. One of the scholarships is the Stamps Scholarship.

Eligibility for the Scholarship

First-Year students are eligible for the scholarship. Also, average SAT and ACT scores are in the top 1 to 2 percent of all students nationwide. Besides academic criteria, candidates’ talent, perseverance, innovation, involvement, and leadership also play an important role.
