The University of Cincinnati is one of the very good universities in Ohio, United States. Many bright and highly talented students get good scholarship programs at the University of Cincinnati.

The University of Cincinnati is a public research university in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was founded in 1819 as Cincinnati College and is the oldest institution of higher education in Cincinnati.

Likewise, Cincinnati collectively offers more than 110 undergraduate degree programs through its various departments. Each gives students the tools they need to think clearly, to debate forcefully, and to find possible solutions for every problem.

Scholarships Programs

Cincinnatus Scholarship Program

UC offers this scholarship to the brightest and the most promising freshmen on each academic program at multiple levels.

Amount: The scholarship ranges from $1,500 annually up to full tuition, room, and board, and a book allowance which is renewable for the length of the undergraduate program.

Application: Applicants must submit the application for admission, transcript, official test scores, and recommendation by December 1st. Additionally, UC sends more information to incoming students who meet the criteria.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

UC offers this scholarship to incoming community college transfer student who is also a member of PTK (or equivalent honor society). The applicant must have a 3.75 GPA. However, there are up to only 4 awards annually; see note below.

Amount: $6,000 annual award renewable for a second year with a 3.2 UC GPA.
