Northumbria University is a public university in Newcastle upon Tyne (Newcastle), UK. The university consists of four faculties offering approximately 500 study programs in the disciplines of Arts, Design and Social Sciences, Business and Law, Engineering and Environment, and Health and Life Sciences. Funded Scholarships are available for international students also at Northumbria University.

Scholarship Worth

The scholarship provides a£3,000 fee discount in the first year of the three-year undergraduate course. Students will receive a further £1,500 fee discount for every subsequent year of study. Furthermore, students joining in the second year of an undergraduate course will receive a £1,500 discount in year two and in year three. Likewise, students joining in the third year of an undergraduate course will receive a £1,500 discount.

Eligibility

You must fulfill the criteria below in order to be eligible for the scholarship.

  • be an International student with ‘overseas’ fee status
  • be a self-funded student
  • similarly, be accepted and enrolled on a full-time taught course, either undergraduate or postgraduate, at the Newcastle upon Tyne campus
  • meet all individual course requirements

Applying

The Northumbria Global Scholarship has applied automatically as a fee discount, therefore, you do not need to make a separate application.
