Laari

Street Food is one of the biggest sources of happiness for a foodie. However, the main constraint South Asian Countries face is unhygienic, unhealthy, and substandard food. This barrier is what we as an organization are trying to remove, as well as creating a better standard of life for street food vendors who are currently living below poverty line.

There are currently:
1. 10 million + street food vendors in India
2. 42% of people do not eat at these vendors due to uncleanliness

Why is this important and why now?
It directly effects 10 million+ people living below the poverty line and helps provide opportunities to reduce this divide. Developing countries are making the best efforts to reduce inequalities (SDG 10) and focusing on good health and well being (SDG 3).

For every donation that’s $200+, there’s a special Thank You note and a 3D printed souvenir as a token of appreciation.

A note from Aditya

I am Aditya Dave, a young student aspiring to impact more than a million people in next 5 years by creating a chain of meaningful social enterprise around the world which would be working on motto of “for good, for profit”. This is because I feel good helping people around by uplifting them and solving grassroots problems.

Some of the invaluable experience of my journey that I’d like to share are:

1. Global Facilitator and Community Leader, Techstars Startup Weekend
2.Director, Media and Outreach- Global Entrepreneurship Bootcamp (https://gebootcamp.com/team.html)
3. City Partner, Future City Summit (futurecitysummit.org)
4. Campus Director, Hult Prize at Nirma University
5. Delegate for Technology and Innovation, Harvard Project for Asian and International relations-2018

The aforementioned experiences have led me to have a better understanding of business and entrepreneurship which is why I believe I’m capable of turning this idea of LAARI into a reality and impact people positively.

With this, I’m inviting any kind of  partnerships that can help me raise funds for myself to make Watson possible and in return I’m willing to share about/represent them in Boulder, USA.

Lastly, I humbly request you to kindly donate for this to help me achieve my goals; even if it’s a small amount, it matters.
