Administrative Clinical Coordinator position available at School of Dental Medicine of Boston University.

About the Position

The Administrative Clinic Coordinator assists the Clinical Director in managing and overseeing the daily clinical activities, finances for the Dental Health Center and managing the clinical teaching activities of the Digital and Operative Programs for the Division of Postdoctoral Prosthodontics. Serve as the contact person for all clinical matters which include residents, vendors, and the universities administrative staff. Support the program by working closely with the front desk personnel, faculty and residents to ensure that the clinic is running smoothly.

Qualifications and Requirements

3-5 years of experience and bachelor’s degree required. Must have previous experience working in a customer service environment preferably with heavy customer/patient interaction; prior experience in healthcare private practice office, hospital, clinic or dental practice preferred. Must have the ability to be flexible and adapt to changes in the work environment, including delays and unexpected events. Must demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and spoken. Intermediate computer skills that include Excel, Word and PowerPoint and databases. Demonstrated ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, and manage competing demands. Ability to identify problems/issues, critically thinking through problems (gather and analyze information skillfully) and presenting potential solutions in a timely manner. Ability to maintain confidentiality, remain open to others’ ideas with willingness to try new things. Must be able to successfully collaborate and work in a team environment while also being an individual contributor. Excellent time management and organizational skills, demonstrating the ability of accuracy and thoroughness; monitor own work to ensure quality; ability to multi-task with the ability to work under pressure, while maintaining composure and meeting deadlines.
