Administrative Coordinator position is available at the Advanced Science Research Center (ASRC) in the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY).

Furthermore, its Advanced Science Research Center (ASRC) promotes collaboration among scientists in five areas of global research and innovation.

The ASRC seeks an Administrative Coordinator who will serve as liaison between the ASRC Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director. Above all, the incumbent will also assist CUNY and ASRC staff with administrative matters. This position reports to the Dean for the Sciences and Research.

Key Responsibilities

  • First of all, to assist in the management and tracking of Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative Program (CITI) trainings.
  • Also, to assist the Director of Sponsored Programs Administration with employees appointed through the CUNY Research Foundation (RF) and communicates with the RF’s Office of Human Resources
  • Assist with coordination of ASRC documentation management in compliance with institutional, state, federal as well as accrediting agency guidelines
  • Establish and maintain the appointment schedule and calendar for the Executive staff.
  • Design, facilitate and track Responsible Conduct of Research training
  • Maintain office and committee policies and standard operating procedures
  • Manage ASRC Executive Office time and leave requests and also the calendar
  • Manage the ASRC-Tower suites including scheduling and invoicing.
  • Review research compliance protocols for correlative activities, completeness and compliance with applicable guidelines and institutional policies, prior to review by applicable committees
  • Update office databases, lists, along with files to ensure completeness and accuracy

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.
