About position

Rowan University is accepting an application for the position of Assistant/Associate of Accounting. The incumbent will be responsible for teaching and organizing research activities under the Department of Accounting and Finance.

In particular, the position holder will be accountable for the following duties

• Teaching Accounting to undergraduate and graduate students. Similarly, conducting, assisting and supervising standard research activities under the Department of Accounting and Finance.
• Guiding and helping students with course-related matters and assignments.
• Participation in various faculty related activities and researches. Also, organize various workshops and skills assessment sessions that support the educational development of students.
• Furthermore, engage in any tasks and activities assigned by the administration or Faculty head.

Requirements

In order to qualify for the position of Associate/Assistant Professor of Accounting, the candidate must have the following specifications

• Ph.D. in Accounting or closely related discipline from AACSB accreditated institution. In addition to that, prior experience of teaching account.
• Previous background in teaching and organizing research in Accounting techniques.
• Professional certification in accounting will be plus.
