Position Summary:

The School of Accounting, Finance, Information Systems and Business Law (AFIB) invites applications for a one semester fixed-term position in Business Law at the level of Assistant Professor beginning Spring semester 2021. Additionally, teaching responsibilities include four courses (face-to-face or online format) per semester at the undergraduate or graduate level. Furthermore, the successful candidate will possess the ability to teach diverse legal topics and their business applications.

Duties

The Assistant Professor will have the following duties

Primary duty assignment will be the main campus in Cullowhee. However, the duty assignment may involve distance and/or online delivery methodologies. Also, the successful candidate will be expected to advise students, be involved in appropriate student organizations, and fulfill normal institutional service obligations. Also, the ability to maintain an active research agenda resulting in scholarship in refereed journals. Scholarship should pertain to the areas of teaching.
