Technical Business Analyst Jobs in Pearson, Melbourne, Australia

Responsibilities

The Technical Business Analyst will work with the project team, product manager and business SMEs to define and document business and technical requirements, in the form of Users Stories. In addition to that, s/he will also work with the solution architects and Pearson global development teams to define a solution that meets the requirements.

  • Defining project scope and gathering requirements by facilitating discussions and workshops with key business stakeholders.
  • Similarly, defining requirements by documenting detailed user stories.
  • Translating requirements to the team by engaging with the development teams to present the user stories and ensure they are understood.
  • Supporting the project manager with planning and scheduling as well as assisting with test planning, test scripts, and execution of testing.

Requirements

In order to be eligible for the position, the candidate must have the following qualifications

  • At least 5 years of commercial experience in developing business and technical requirements for software development projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple activities, use own initiative/work proactively and ability to prioritize workload.
  • Proven experience working on Agile projects, documenting user stories and also Education Industry knowledge/experience.
