The University of Aberdeen is hiring highly qualified, dynamic and experienced teaching personnel to tutor Business Finance to students in an undergraduate foundation program. The new recruitment will be joining the university in September.

Roles and Responsibilities 

As a Business Finance tutor, you will work with a small group of students enrolled in the undergraduate foundation program at the university. Also, you have to adopt highly advanced teaching methods and technologies to deliver the best learning environment to the students.

Furthermore, you have to

  • deliver high-quality teaching of modules to groups of international students.
  • undertake marking and feedback provision on a formative and summative basis, whilst complying with Quality Standards and Processes.
  • maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of student attendance and performance
  • participate in regular meetings with teaching and support staff.

Qualifications and requirements

  • Minimum a master’s degree in Business, Finance, or relevant subjects. Ph.D. will be additional benefits
  • Experience in teaching a relevant subject in any higher education institution in the United Kingdom.
  • Ability to develop and update teaching material and preferably experience of working within a Virtual Learning Environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team of diversity
