Job Title: Clinical Business Services Manager

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing reports and analyses for varied and complex budgetary, financial and resource projects.
  • Additionally, the incumbent will generate timely reporting on all Schwab Center activities for reports to UC Berkeley and UCSF Departments and to the Schwab Foundation.
  • Also, he/she will work with Psychology Clinic, UCSF Health, and the Schwab Center to generate, recoup, and account for Schwab Center revenue, related to assessments and treatments performed at the Psychology Clinic as part of its linkage with the Schwab Center.
  • Work with UCSF and UCB personnel to reconcile and process inter-campus gift-fund transfers and disbursement for the growing trainee and staff/faculty workforce of the Schwab Center.
  • Likewise, prepare purchasing, recharge, travel, and training/conference materials for Schwab Center Activities.
  • Also, he/she reviews and approves financial data and transactions.

Required Qualifications for Business Services Manager Vacancy

  • Thorough knowledge of financial processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Additionally, thorough knowledge of financial data management and reporting systems.
  • Strong proficiency in the use of spreadsheet and database software.
  • Similarly, strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, service orientation, active listening, critical thinking, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a high volume environment, organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment, and decision making; ability to develop original ideas to solve problems.

  • Likewise, thorough knowledge or ability to quickly learn and understand internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources.
