The Director for IT in Digital Transformation is accountable to the CIO for the delivery of digital transformation initiatives in line with the approved Technology strategy. In addition to this, This position is a customer-facing Business Transformation role focused on the delivery of key digital investment programs. Providing thought leadership and focused on fuelling new digital capabilities and enabling agility across the University this role will drive interactions and facilitate alignment with University Senior Executive Management. Also, The Applicant is responsible for leadership, program delivery and creating operational excellence of the digital transformation suite of projects, this position will drive individual and team productivity, quality, and technical skill development.

So, the applicant should ensure the exceptional execution of strategic projects linked to the digital strategy while ensuring customer satisfaction with digital adoption. The attractive remuneration package on offer to the successful candidate. Including, the total salary package offered will depend on qualifications and experience. So, a Fixed-Term position available immediately as part of the leadership team takes on responsibility for the leadership, growth and operational excellence of the digital delivery program.

Eligibility

Working industry knowledge of key digital transformation methodologies, approaches, and market trends
demonstrated leadership skills to influence as a Senior Executive Management level in a large and complex organizational environment, including working with governance committees (i.e. Council), Executive Directors/Deans, and Executives to effect strategic change and collaborative arrangements. Therefore, the Applicant should have a proven experience in the modernization of operations of large size IT teams with an understanding of IT Operating models and the implications on financial management, vendor management, contracts, and program management, demonstrated experience in the implementation of large-scale Digital Programs.
