The University of Michigan – Ann Arbor is looking for motivated, dynamic, experienced and highly qualified Research Assistant to work under the Department of Biomedical Science, focused on Cancer Biology. The research will be focused on the evaluation of the activity and the mechanism of action of novel small molecules blocking epigenetic proteins in cancer. The position holder will be a part of an interdisciplinary team focused on the development and pre-clinical evaluation of novel anti-cancer drug candidates. In addition to that, he/she will be accountable to study the effect of small molecules in vitro and in vivo models of cancers and to pursue target validation studies using genetic approaches.
