Postdoctoral position at Masaryk University
Masaryk University is the second largest university in the country of Czech Republic. Masaryk University is seeking postdoctoral fellow in the field of Medieval Art History under the Department of Art History. The postdoctoral fellow will work alongside with other candidates in the specific project. The project is lead by Ivan Foletti which focuses on the city of Rome. However, the position holder will join the team of two doctoral fellow and one senior researcher. The studies artistic production of the period, with a focus on the monumental decoration. In general, the incumbent will supervise a significant part of the final monograph and have to author of at least two articles.
In addition to that, he/she will co-organize, with all the team, an international symposium dedicated to the question of the interaction between monumental decorations and liturgy during the Carolingian period in Rome. Furthermore, post-doc fellow will also participate in other activities of the Center for Early Medieval Studies, Department of Art History.
