Responsibilities

The Research Associate will do the following duties

• The candidate will have the responsibility for the experimental aspects of the Warm Rubberized Asphalt Concrete project.
• Additionally, select, prepare, perform and analyze the results of multi-scale tests for identification of the basic chemo-mechanical properties of the constituents of Rubberized Asphalt Concrete mixes and their interactions.
• Similarly, participating in the team effort for the development of physicomechanical constitutive models and methodologies for identification of the significance of the various mix components and design parameters in the overall mix performance and resistance to damage.
• Also. lead the team efforts for the development of a guideline for optimization of Rubberized Asphalt Concrete mix design.

Qualifications

The incumbent must meet the following requirements for the Vacancy for Research Associate in Abu Dhabi

• MSc in Civil Engineering with emphasis on asphalt material testing
• Also, documented experience in testing bituminous materials.
