The Ashmolean Museum is seeking a highly effective Senior Development Executive to identify and cultivate major donors, develop long-term successful relationships with key individuals, and to work towards securing substantial donations for the Museum, in support of its ambitious endowment campaign and other priority projects.

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced development professional with a strong track record in securing major gifts, with a confident approach to achieving ambitious income targets. You possess diplomacy, creativity and outstanding communication skills, as well as the ability to operate comfortably in a large, complex institution with multiple stakeholders. You have the credibility and confidence to influence at the highest level, and a collaborative and flexible working style is essential. A graduate or equivalent with an interest in arts and heritage and education, you have the ability to engage others in Oxford’s goals, and you are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
