Senior Program Coordinator position is available at the School of Management and Labor Relations of Rutgers University.

This position provides program administration and marketing support for the Center for HR and Leadership Development and the NJ/NY Center for Employee Ownership. Additionally, provides administrative support for the Human Resource Management Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of custom, open enrollment, and online programs delivery including faculty payroll, training material preparation, room setup, food service and conference space.
  • Act as on-site coordinator at client locations, which can include traveling to out-of-state locations
  • Prepare program proposals and final budget reports.
  • Interface, coordinate and maintain professional relationships with all clients, participants, vendors, faculty and colleagues.
  • Collect and analyze program information for future program offerings.
  • Coordinate and administer various Department and Center advisory board meetings
  • Develop and execute external and internal marketing programs including scheduling and coordinating informational webinars and email blasts to prospective participants, and assisting with marketing collateral, website updates, and social media posts.
  • Work closely with Marketing and Communications to ensure the successful promotion of programs and annual conference

Qualifications and Requirements

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resource Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • A minimum of two years experience in administering and marketing educational programs.
  • Excellent written and oral communications

  • Self-management – time, priorities
  • Experience in project planning and management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite – word processing, spreadsheet, presentation software and internet skills
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel, when necessary, to sites throughout New Jersey for business demands.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM platform and LMS platforms including Canvas and Sakai and conducting webinars using GoToMeeting.
  • Experience in higher education
