Position: Assistant Coach of Women’s Soccer team at California State Univesity

About position

The university is seeking high caliber and fits soccer man to prepare the Calstate women’s soccer team for the national college league. In general, the appointee will serve as an assistant coach for an NCAA Division II program. Also, under the direction of the head coach the assistant coach will assist in all facets of the program.

Furthermore, the assistant coach will do the following duties

  • Assisting in all training and games, recruiting, campus. Similarly, ordering equipment, scheduling, office administration, and fund-raising.
  • Responsible for transporting coaches and/or student-athletes in state vehicles and/or rental vehicles for team travel and/or recruiting needs.
  • Above all, the Assistant Coach is responsible for enforcement of institutional, conference, and NCAA regulations relevant to Cal State LA Department of Athletics.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required, master’s degree preferred. However, specialization in physical education or related field required.
  • In addition to that, the minimum three-to-five year’s successful coaching experience at the collegiate, high school, or club levels.
  • Ability or interest in working in a multi-ethnic, multicultural environment. Additionally, the ability to secure and maintain a valid California driver’s license preferred.
