Position: Assistant/Associate Professor of Business
Madonna University is a private Catholic liberal arts university in Lovinia, Michigan. It has extension campuses in Metro Detroit in southwest Detroit, Orchard Lake, and Clinton Township at the Macomb University Center. Madonna University also has a campus at the University Center in Gaylord, about 225 miles (362 km) north of Livonia. However, even after being a university with affiliation to the Catholic Church, the university accepts all students from all faculty and faiths. The university offers more than 100 undergraduate majors toward associate and bachelor’s degrees as well as 35 master’s programs in clinical psychology, business, criminal justice, education, history, and health professions. In May 2009, Madonna began offering its first doctorate, the Doctor of Nursing Practice.
The School of Busines at Madonna University welcomes qualified applicants to apply for the position of Assistant Professor of Business. Basically, the incumbent will be teaching the courses in the undergraduate and graduate business programs in specialized areas. The School of Business has been offering business education for over 40 years and is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
In addition to teachings, the position holder will be accountable for other additional duties. Additional duties include academic advising, participation, and contribution in researches, organizing academic sessions, etc. At the same time, s/he also might need to guide and helps students with assessments and also check, evaluate and mark submitted assignment works. Furthermore, administration or faculty department might assign some tasks to the incumbent.
