Position: Associate Professor of Human Resources / Organizational Behaviour

About role

The Management Area of the School of Business at the University of Kansas is seeking dynamic and well-qualified professor in Human Resources. The Associate Professor of Human Resources / Organizational Behaviour will perform the following duties

  • 40% – Teach a combination of required and elective courses in Human Resources or Organizational Behavior at the undergraduate, MBA and doctoral levels.
  • 40% – Conduct and publish research on Human Resources/Organizational Behavior in leading academic journals.
  • 20% – Engage in school, university, and professional service activities as needed.

Requirements

  • A Ph.D. in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior or a closely related field. In addition to that, a record of productive teaching excellence in Human Resources or Organizational Behavior.
  • Similarly, demonstrated excellent scholarship as shown through publications that have enabled the candidate to be successfully promoted to Associate Professor at research-oriented university of a similar or higher research profile as the University of Kansas.
