The Saint Joseph’s College of Marian University announces a vacancy opening for Assistant Professor of Business Administration. The department is seeking a dynamic and innovative leader for a twelve-month, non-tenure track position starting in July 2020.

Responsibilities 

The Assistant Professor of Business Administration will be doing the following specifications at the Saint Joseph’s College of Marian University

• Teaching multiple sections of Management, Marketing, and other courses in Business Administration.
• Collaborating closely with fellow faculty and administrators in curriculum and course design.
• Also, coordinating with employers to blend student workplace experience with academics.
• Participating in intensive advising, mentorship, and recruitment of students.
• Furthermore, performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements 

Candidates must have the following qualifications in order to be eligible for the vacancy at Marian University

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, preferably with industry experience,
• In addition to that, commitment to innovative, flexible, and engaging pedagogy, including active discussion environments and project-based learning,
• Experience and desire to work with a diverse student body. Similarly, experience in team-teaching and close collaboration with colleagues across disciplinary and functional lines.
• Previous experience in the two-year or community college setting preferred.
• Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of Marian University.
