The incumbent Graduate Research Assistants act as helpers to their departments, students or professors in research or administrative capacity. Responsibilities

The Graduate Research Assist must be liable for the following duties

• Assisting professors and departments with various administrative tasks.
• Finding information in libraries as well as researching internet sources and also conducting various research experiments and analyzing data.
• Designing research methodologies or populating literature reviews. Similarly, undertaking various fieldwork research.
• Co-authoring research papers with their professors.
• Attending seminars and periodically lecturing classes and also assuming the role of teaching assistant and assisting with teaching material.
• Furthermore, assisting their professor with grading papers.

Requirements 

Candidates must have the following qualifications in order to be eligible for this Research Assistant Vacancy at University of Central Missouri

• Bachelor’s degree. Bachelor of Science degree in Airport Management preferred.
• In addition to that, Certified Member (CM) from AAAE or Aircraft Fueling Operations Training Certificate preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Communication skills, including oral, written, and/or nonverbal, Human Relations/Interpersonal skills.
• Leadership skills.
• Organization/meeting facilitation/project leadership.
• Supervisory skills, including motivation, a delegation of duties, evaluation, etc.
