Job Summary

1.  Participates in the process of establishing an Allied Health Sciences of international caliber, thus ensuring an international standard of excellence in Foundation Year education within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
2. Additionally, the work will focus on the facilitation of learning. The delivery of which, will be carried out within the context of the Mission and Vision statements of the College that honors the fundamental principles of Islam and Saudi Culture.

Duties

1. Contributes to the teaching, learning facilitation, classroom supervision and supervision of students in areas of practice related to the faculty member’s area of expertise.
2. Additionally, the incumbent contributes to the planning, delivery, and evaluation of educational programs.
3. Also, provides advice on studies to allocated students.
4. Similarly, he/she supervises research students if appropriately qualified.
5. Able to increase students’ knowledge through design and the development of effective approaches.
6. Also, trains students in practical laboratories.
7. Likewise, counsels students pertaining to their career and academic achievement and goals.
8. Follows all policies and guidelines in accordance with the Mohammad Al-Mana College for Health Sciences Mission, Vision, and Values.
9.  Furthermore, undertakes administrative duties as specified.
10. Contributes to research and development projects, materials, and curriculum/syllabus development for teaching purposes.
11. Likewise, participates in Mohammad Al-Mana College and Foundation year quality improvement initiatives as required.

Qualifications for Vacancy for Assistant Professor

1. Educational Qualifications & Licensure
   1. Master’s degree in Health Management/ Lab Quality from an accredited institution.
2. Additionally, professional Experience at least 3 years post qualification experience in teaching and course planning as per the Ministry of Higher Education Bylaws.
3. Also, evidence of being up to date in the latest educational methodologies.
4. Specialized Knowledge
   1. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
   2. Also, computer literate and knowledgeable of internet uses.
   3. Likewise, experience in a multicultural environment is an asset.
   4. Ability to present material clearly and coherently on a given topic using appropriate media and tailoring the presentation to the relevant audience.
