Qualifications for Vacancy for Assistant Professor

Eligible candidates should hold an earned Doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science and/or Materials Engineering, or a closely related field and at least 1 year of postdoctoral experience in academia, government, or industry. Likewise, candidates should have experience and skill in writing research proposals. Additionally, candidates must also have the ability to (1) teach a variety of courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels within the Department;

(2) develop and sustain an externally funded research program leading to national and international recognition, support, and mentor graduate and undergraduate students. Also, postdoctoral fellows and other research personnel, publish peer-reviewed papers. Similarly, make presentations at national meetings and collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams of faculty. Also, other researchers within the department, college, and university
