Salary:  $ 57,000 – $60,000

Basic Function:

Investigate formal complaints that fall under a variety of federal regulations such as Title VII, Title IX, Americans with Disabilities Act, Affirmative Action, etc. Also, provide support in coordinating the university’s Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity programs. Provide on-going data analysis and audit support for affirmative action and other areas of human resources. Reports to designated administrator.

Duties for Vacancy for Compliance Investigator in the USA

  • Receive and investigate formal complaints that fall under a variety of federal regulations.
  • Also, assist with preparation, communication, and implementation
  • Provide statistical information for division heads, colleges, and departments regarding goals and availability for faculty and staff.
  • Additionally, analyze data quantitatively and qualitatively
  • Extract, compile, and analyze employee demographic data and prepare reports as required.
  • Moreover, monitor and audit accuracy and integrity of transactions in the human resources system

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in related field and three years’ experience in personnel management, student affairs, resident life, or higher education administration. Must be able to work nontraditional hours when necessary, including evenings and weekends.

Master’s degree in related field and one year experience in personnel management, student affairs, resident life, or higher education. Must be able to work nontraditional hours when necessary, including evenings and weekends.

  • OR-

Associate’s degree in related field and 5 years’ experience in personnel management, student affairs, resident life, or higher education. Must be able to work nontraditional hours when necessary, including evenings and weekends.

Skill In:

  • Written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
  • Also, effectively collecting, interpreting, and summarizing data and legal requirements
  • Tactfully and effectively handle confrontation situations
  • Additionally, public speaking/conducting training
  • Creating MS PowerPoint training materials
  • Moreover, building/creating spreadsheets and pivot tables in MS Excel
