Responsibilities
The incumbent will do the following duties
- Develop and implement strategic marketing and communications plan in collaboration with the President and Senior Leadership Team
- Also, Work with the Vice President of Advancement and Advancement team to create high-quality engagement materials for alumni and donors.
- Additionally, work collaboratively with the Vice President of Enrollment and Director of Admissions to ensure a strong recruitment campaign.
- Also, coordinate efforts with the Athletics department to promote and celebrate the excellence of Wagner’s athletics program and the accomplishments of the College’s diverse and talented student-athletes.
- Similarly, oversee strategic planning, execution, and maintenance of effective communication efforts with departments to reinforce brand awareness.
- Likewise, collaborate with the Dean of Graduate Studies and Continuing Education and the Department of Lifelong Learning to market and recruit for the college’s Graduate and Continuing education programs.
- Also, Plan and direct consistent and inclusive College communications to cultivate and captivate various constituents of the Wagner Community.
- Also, Lead and motivate a communications team currently consisting of five members, including the director.
- Furthermore, direct, in collaboration with the staff, all web, and digital media efforts.
Qualifications
The incumbent must meet the following requirements for the Vacancy for Director of Communication and Marketing
- Seven to ten years of increasing responsibility in communications, preferably at a private college.
- Additionally, Bachelor’s degree, Master’s preferred in a related field
- Also, experience in digital media, web design, and marketing
- Furthermore, proven managerial ability and experience
- Also, demonstrated ability to be an inspiring, collaborative leader who can interact productively and effectively with internal constituents and external constituents.
- Moreover, Excellent written and oral communication skills, and editorial experience.
