Summary
The Enrollment Management Clerk provides customer service to prospective students, families, and other university personnel, providing general information, answering routine questions, and explaining policies. This position performs work as part of a call center and handles inquiries related to admissions processes using a multi-line telephone system and customer relationship management (CRM) tool.
Duties
- Responds to call center inquiries from parents, students, and other individuals with questions relating to admissions processes; uses a multi-line telephone system and customer relationship management (CRM) tool.
- Additionally, the incumbent answers routine questions, explains policies, and provides general information, including basic account/status information, office hours, etc.; refers customers to appropriate staff and offices on campus, as needed.
- Also, consults with the team manager regarding unusual cases or system problems to ensure successful resolution of customer issues.
- Furthermore, provides clerical office support and customer service for visitors. Accepts applications and other documents submitted; records receipt. Manages student employees; provides guidance and training in customer service skills.
- Also, performs basic data entry duties, including verifying residency for tuition purposes as it aligns with the State of Florida residency policies. Preserves data integrity through the input and correction of data by verifying data and communicating discrepancies to students for resolution.
- Likewise, attends recruitment events on campus and assists with programs, as needed.
- Furthermore, performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- This position requires a high school diploma, or equivalent, with one year of general office experience.
- Also, appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
- Furthermore, proficiency in spoken Spanish and/or Haitian Creole as well as experience working with diverse populations.
