Overview:

Under the leadership of the Director of Enterprise Applications, the Enterprise Application Analyst will work with clients to identify and document business requirements and participate in the design and development of new solutions as well as the refinement and optimization of the existing portfolio. This position will translate business needs into requirements, processes, and technical specifications; research, evaluate, and recommend appropriate solutions. The incumbent will collaborate regularly with clients and colleagues in IT.

Duties

• As Applications Administrator, responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our existing applications, ensuring that they work seamlessly across the organization and captures all required information
• Additionally, configure and customize the application platforms in order to meet new/changing business requirements.
• Promote adoption, keep current on new releases and solutions, and act as the primary contact and a subject matter expert on complex and/or critical system issues and processes for the University’s application environments.
• Furthermore, ability to establish excellent working relationships with the end-user community, teammates, and vendors.
• Work with users and departments to re-engineer and improve business processes
• Document key information about applications and end-user business processes
• Facilitate activities & workshops to streamline processes and design integrated actor/action/outcome-based testing scenarios
• Additionally, using appropriate toolsets create and maintain integrations for sharing data between systems
• Also, using appropriate toolsets automates manual tasks for both IT and the end-user community
• Drive an Arcadia aligned data model across new and legacy systems
• Moreover, manage internal and external projects to configure and deploy integrated applications

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience in application support and business analytics

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent communication and training skills including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
• Also, excellent time-management
• Furthermore, proficient in documenting business processes and use cases
• Additionally, proficient in Business Intelligence and BI Toolsets
• Also, proficient in scripting and ETL toolsets such as Microsoft SSIS
• Proficient in administering, modifying, documenting and upgrading applications
• Recognizing the need for, and implementing re-engineered business processes
• Also, the ability to troubleshoot and fix problems with limited assistance
• Ability to work independently with limited direction from supervisor
