Job Title: Internation Communication Program Coordinator
Duties
- Supports the development of creative, effective and targeted communications and marketing campaigns for prospective for incoming international students, using a range of mediums (print, SMS text, email, web, and social media) designed to elicit the desired response, such as understanding the value of an ASU degree and locating resources within the university.
- Additionally, in coordination with the senior communications manager and key stakeholders, develops and plans marketing communications to best serve institutional needs.
- Also, the candidate plans and produces communication journeys including scheduling emails, text messages, and mailing lists using JIRA.
- Likewise, he/she coordinates print publications, ensuring meeting deadlines and materials are on-brand.
- Assists with website maintenance, ensuring content is current and on-brand, and deadlines are met.
- Furthermore, the incumbent builds and maintains strong working relationships with all staff and stakeholders.
- Also, he/she provides excellent customer service to stakeholders and constituents, is collaborative and transparent with all work.
- Likewise, daily tasks are repetitive in nature; following established procedures.
Qualifications
Minimum
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications or closely related field and one year of related experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working directly in marketing, PR, or communication.
- Also, in navigating the journey to college through personal or family experiences.
- Furthermore, in working with international education, exchanges, or study abroad.
- Bilingual in English and a second language
- Likewise, experience with international visa processes.
- Additionally, in working within a team environment where changes in the work process can impact other teams and projects.
- Also, experience working in an international education environment or in an environment with regular interaction with high school students, parents, and families, or with students pursuing higher education.
- Furthermore, demonstrated knowledge of the college application processes, and how to describe core competencies, aptitude requirements, and admission requirements in communication.
Working Environment
- Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse (75%); required to stand for varying lengths of time and walk moderate distances to perform work (10%)
- Likewise, frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds (15%)
- Also, regular activities require the ability to quickly change priorities which may include and/or are subject to resolution of conflicts
- Additionally, the ability to clearly communicate verbally, read, write, see, and hear to perform essential functions.
