Summary
The Events Services Manager provides central management and coordination of events for the Rayburn Student Center (RSC) and non-academic space on Campus. Positions serves as the primary Event Management System (EMS) specialist for the RSC and management of building operations (including evening and weekend hours). Supervises event set up student employees and ensure rooms are set daily.

The incumbent must meet the following criteria
Education: Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills: Five (5) years related experience in event planning and marketing including related supervisory experience. Also, previous experience working in a fast paced environment. Strong computer skills. Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
Ability to: Multitask and work cooperatively with others. Strong organizational skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Other Requirements: Hours: Work beyond normal office hours and/ or work on weekends.
