Responsibilities
The incumbent will do the following duties
- The incumbent must be able to explain policies, answer questions, and independently resolve problems whenever feasible.
- Also, s/he should plan to prioritize and schedule meetings and appointments for the Chair of Pharmacotherapeutics and Clinical Research. Make daily decisions regarding calendars.
- Additionally, support purchasing requirements for the college and obtain price quotes, entering into university systems, receive purchase orders and maintain P-Card information as required.
- Similarly, develop, manage and maintain a functional filing system for hard copy documents. Receive telephone calls and respond independently as appropriate. Examines all incoming correspondence to determine priority items while ensuring confidentiality.
- In addition to that, he/she should be responsible for efficient and timely management of conference and travel arrangements, itineraries, agendas, flight reservations, lodging, car rental, etc.; and compiles receipts and prepare electronic travel reimbursements for the department and COP students as needed.
- Furthermore, the candidate should compile and maintain information that may require web or library researching and gathering.
- Likewise, he/she should assist departmental faculty with Exam Soft Program
- Also, assist with coordination of course materials and supplies
- He/she must fulfill Administrative requirements for PCR Faculty Searches
- Manages and audits annual and sick leave records and coordinates paid parental leave and FMLA
- Similarly, the candidate will supervise a part-time student and Administrative Specialist.
- Also, responsible for on-boarding and faculty moves.
- likewise, he/she will perform other duties as assigned.
Eligibility
The candidate must meet the given requirements to be eligible for the Vacancy for Office Manager in the USA
- This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with six years of experience in office or administrative positions.
- Additionally, appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
