Duties

Part-time Teaching Faculty at CityU have three key responsibilities:

Qualifications

• Must have an earned Master’s degree from an accredited university in a field related to the area of responsibility.
• Additionally, the incumbent must have 3-5 years of professional experience in higher education curricular design, resource allocation, program evaluation, and assessment, or related field.
• Also, he/she must have an online instruction experience.
• Demonstrated ability to provide a learning experience that links the application with formal learning and adult learning theory.
• Additionally, the ability to work in a team-oriented system, deal effectively with professional staff, other part-time faculty, adult, and culturally diverse students.
• Ability to meet the university’s minimum requirements for technology knowledge standards.
• Ability to meet university and programmatic minimum technology access standards,

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Blackboard Academic Suite with standardized course content.
• Also, experience in higher education settings with a diverse, global audience.
• Additionally, experience with technology integration with course content.
