Summary of Duties:

The Personnel/Payroll position will perform a variety of complex H.R. processes and payroll duties in support of Administrative Services at the Irrigated Agriculture Research and Extension Center (IAREC) in Prosser, WA.

Responsibilities include coordinating all human resource matters related to positions, payroll, and personnel, inclusive of recruitment. Also,  onboarding activities, work-related issues, and International visas. Additionally, this position will work collaboratively with Prosser IAREC administration, staff, faculty, and Human Resource Services to proactively identify issues, and provide effective solutions. Furthermore, the Personnel/Payroll position will also review, develop, and maintain accurate records. Likewise, he/she will maintain electronic and paper files and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Vacancy for Payroll Specialist

Three years of fiscal record keeping experience; OR equivalent education/experience.
