Summary:

The Program Manager will administer and oversee the many facets of the admissions process for Graduate Programs in the College of Education (COE). This effort includes, but is not limited to admissions, recruiting, non-degree student advising, and serving as the technical lead within the COE on the data systems surrounding admissions, and recruiting. The Program Manager will manage admissions and enrollment in the COE Admissions Office at large in offering online and on-site courses to educators and administrators who work in K-12 schools internationally. The successful candidate will be the lead on the Summer Institute and will perform exit interviews and/or surveys with current students and alumni as needed.

Duties

The incumbent will do the following duties

  1. Admissions management
    • Manage all aspects of admissions programs from inquiry to the application of student in collaboration with the Associate Director
    • Also, complete application file review
    • Collaborate with the Associate Director on admissions strategies
    • Likewise, extensive knowledge of a College environment and graduate admission support
    • In-depth knowledge of enrollment RX (CRM) and CollegeNet
    • Similarly, serve as the primary liaison between prospective students/parents and College programs, curriculum, and various campus opportunities by conducting interviews and information sessions, as well as through other modes of communication
  2. Non-degree, certificate and/or global Student Advisor
    • Manage admissions decisions for selected students (non-degree, global distance and/or Lehigh certificate students) based on the College’s admission requirements
    • Similarly, serve as the primary liaison between prospective students/parents and College non-degree programs and certificate programs, curriculum, and various campus opportunities by conducting interviews and information sessions, as well as through other modes of communication
    • Additionally, advise students, including non-degree students, global distance students, certificate students; on the procedures and programs of study for Lehigh COE certificates, global coursework, non-degree coursework, and other non-degree programs
    • Moreover, manage registration information and online access as needed; troubleshoot and resolve registration problems as needed
    • Also, manage and provides guidance for student petitions, proposals, and graduation workflow as applicable

More

  1. Summer Institute and partnership programming
    • In charge of planning the Summer Institute yearly
    • Plan, organize, and coordinate significant assignments related to the Summer Institute
    • Maintain knowledge of international Visa requirements to advise faculty and student on best practices
  2. Promote and recruit for graduate and distance programs in COE
    • Recruit students into programs, professional certificate programs, and non-degree programs
    • Additionally, develop and participate in recruitment strategies and initiatives in collaboration with the Associate Director of Admissions/Global Distance
    • Independently represent the programs at select recruiting or networking events, conferences, or open houses

Qualifications for Vacancy for Program Manager

  1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  2. Additionally, three to five years of related work experience
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Likewise, solid writing ability and organizational skills
  5. Also, analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
